Step By Step Guide


The “invalid account” / “authorization failed” / “unauthorized” error messages are encountered when you enter your password incorrectly or when you select the wrong server.



Please make sure you select the following server details:


  • For the MetaTrader 4:


Windows/Mac:

Osprey-Live: mt4.ospreyfx.com:443

Osprey-Demo: mt4demo.ospreyfx.com:443



Android/iPhone Apps:

  • For the MetaTrader 5:


Windows/Mac:

  • If the server selection is not the issue, please try resetting your MetaTrader password. This can be done from the My Accounts section.

  • Click on Accounts and select the Account which you wish to have the password reset by clicking on the account number.





  • Click on the three dots next to your account ID and select 




  • Click on "Change Password" and you will receive your new password via Email.
